If you are feeling overwhelmed, burdened by life’s challenges, or simply trying to get through each day, you are not alone. I’m Allen Scott, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow things down, make sense of what is happening, and begin to feel more steady again.

I work with individuals and couples living with depression, anxiety, stress, grief and trauma, as well as those navigating more complex experiences such as Autism, ADHD, OCD, EUPD, and the pain of relationship strain or breakdown. Many of my clients identify as neurodivergent, and I hold deep respect for the sensitivity, insight and creativity this can bring, while also recognising the emotional toll of living in a world that does not always understand or accommodate difference.

In our work together, you will not be reduced to labels or judged for how you cope. Instead, you will find a space where your story is listened to with care and taken seriously. I focus strongly on the therapeutic relationship, because feeling safe, seen and understood is often the beginning of change. Whether you are masking, unmasking, or still trying to understand who you are, you will be met with warmth and respect.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on a range of models including CBT, DBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and mindfulness-based practice. I also work in a holistic, somatic way, paying attention to how stress and past experiences can show up in the body, such as tension, shutdown, overwhelm, or feeling stuck. Together, we can explore the roots of what you are going through, while also developing practical tools to help you manage day-to-day life.

Alongside counselling, I also offer coaching for those seeking clarity, direction and grounded support in creating change, personally or professionally. Some people come to me for therapy, others for coaching, and many find that a blend of both provides the balance they need.
