If you are feeling overwhelmed, burdened by life’s challenges, or struggling to make it through each day, you are not alone. I’m Allen Scott, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and I’m here to offer the support, understanding, and guidance you need to make life feel more manageable.

I work with individuals and couples living with depression, anxiety, and trauma—as well as those navigating more complex experiences, such as Autism, ADHD, OCD, EUPD, or the pain of relationship struggles and breakdowns. Many of my clients identify as neurodivergent, and I hold a deep respect for the richness, sensitivity, and insight this can bring, while also recognising the challenges it may pose in a world not always built with neurodiversity in mind.

In our work together, you will not be defined by labels or judgments. Instead, you will find a space where your unique story is heard, valued, and respected. I am committed to building a strong and trusting relationship with every client, creating a safe space where you feel able to be your true self—whether you’re masking, unmasking, or still trying to understand who you are.

My approach draws on a range of models—including CBT, DBT, person-centred, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed practice—always tailored to your individual needs. This allows us to work both on understanding the roots of your difficulties and on building practical strategies to help you manage everyday challenges.

Alongside counselling, I also offer coaching for those seeking clarity, direction, and grounded support in creating change—personally or professionally. Some people come to me for therapy, others for coaching, and many find a blend of both provides the balance they need.
